  • Film upload (Content owner responsibility)
To ensure that the entire process of uploading a film to the system runs smoothly, we recommend starting to upload your film at least 3-4 days before the planned screening. The upload duration depends on your internet connection and hardware.
  • Film processing (Artinii responsibility)
Once the upload is completed, the film is processed in the Artinii system. This automated process cannot be expedited and may take up to 24 hours, depending on the file size and encoding.
  • Audio & subtitles review (Content owner responsibility)
After processing, you are required to review and approve the audio tracks and subtitles.
  • Final technical approval (Artinii responsibility)
Once you've approved, Artinii has up to 2 days (48 hours) to complete a final technical review and approve the film for delivery.
  • Delivery to venue (Content owner responsibility)
We strongly recommend sending the film to the screening venue at least 24 hours before the screening. This allows sufficient time for download, testing with the full projection setup, and resolving any potential issues.

If any issue is detected, an Artinii reviewer will contact you with instructions on how to fix it, generally within a few hours.

You can add subtitles either as embedded tracks within the video or as external .srt files.

Subtitles can be added:

  • During upload – Step 6 of the upload process.
  • After upload – via Edit Audio & Subtitles in your Artinii.Pro Dashboard.
  • In Artinii Cinema Player – Exhibitors can also add subtitles directly to individual films. In the film details, click on Configure subtitles and add subtitles using the Add external subtitles button.

SCREENING PLACE SETUP

A Screening Place represents the venue where your screenings take place (cinema, outdoor venue, cultural center, etc.).

You can create or edit a Screening Place right after registration or later in your account under Screening Places.

Please make sure to:

  • Enter the exact address (city, country),

OFFLINE SCREENING & LICENSING

Yes. After logging in and downloading the film, it can be screened offline for up to 14 days, always within the license validity period. A successfully downloaded and correctly installed film is marked with the status Ready to play.

After this period, Artinii Cinema Player will automatically log you out. Once you reconnect to the internet, you can log in again and continue playing the content, provided the license is still valid.

This depends on:

  • Your internet speed
  • Speed of your storage (HDD / SSD)

HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) ensures that video content is transmitted securely between devices.

All components in your projection chain must support HDCP v1.4 or above:

  • Computer,
  • Certified HDMI cables,
  • Projector or display
  • Any other components (control centers, splitters, etc.) – these items seems most often to be the culprit, concerning HDCP compliance
  • If possible, avoid or replace non-compliant HDMI splitters.

HDCP 1.4 and higher
